Welcome to SellMyCar Qatar. By accessing or using our marketplace you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully — if you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who we are

SellMyCar Qatar (“we”, “our”) operates an online classifieds platform that connects private sellers, dealerships and buyers of motor vehicles in the State of Qatar. We are a marketplace only: we do not own the vehicles listed and we are not a party to any transaction between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in Qatar. Dealership accounts must be operated by an authorised representative of a licensed business.

3. Listings

• You are responsible for the accuracy of every listing you post, including price, mileage, condition, photos and contact details.
• Listings must be for a real vehicle you own or are authorised to sell.
• Prohibited: stolen or salvaged vehicles without disclosure, duplicate listings, listings that infringe third-party rights, misleading pricing, or any vehicle that cannot legally be sold in Qatar.
• We may edit, suspend or remove any listing that violates these terms or applicable law.

4. Enquiries and contact

Contact details are shown to signed-in users only. You may not scrape, harvest, resell or use contact information for any purpose other than a genuine enquiry about the specific vehicle. Automated or bulk enquiries are prohibited.

5. Fees

Listing a vehicle is currently free for private sellers. Dealer plans and paid promotion may be introduced with prior notice.

6. Payments and delivery

All transactions, inspections, payments and vehicle transfers happen directly between buyer and seller. We do not process payments, escrow funds or verify title. Use the safety tips before parting with any money.

7. Prohibited conduct

• No fraud, misrepresentation or impersonation.
• No harassment, threats or unlawful content.
• No attempts to bypass rate limits, security or moderation.

8. Content licence

You retain ownership of your photos and text. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. We do not verify vehicle condition, history or seller identity beyond basic account checks. To the maximum extent permitted by Qatari law, we exclude all implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Termination

We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms, at any time and at our discretion.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The courts of Qatar have exclusive jurisdiction.
